After Completing Internal Medicine residency from Mount Sinai Hospital Medical Center in Chicago in 2003 and partially completing Infectious Diseases fellowship from University of Milwaukee in 2004, Dr. Nilam Shah relocated to St Petersburg area and has been practicing medicine in St Petersburg area since then. She is a Board Certified Internist. She treats patients with utmost care, urgency and respect and believes in compassionate and preventive care for adults and seniors. She is available at the Sunrise Medical Clinic weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Krupa Patel PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and continued her education at Keiser University in Fort Lauderdale, FL earning her Master in Physician Assistant Studies. During her clinical rotations in Physician Assistant school, Krupa trained in many different specialties including Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Psychiatry and Surgery. For her Internal Medicine rotation Krupa trained under Dr. Shah. Krupa is passionate about patient-centered care and strives to understand the health goals and concerns of her patients through close listening and attention to detail. She especially enjoys working with patients to both prevent and manage chronic health conditions.
